Nightmare gear: sources and requirements
Boosted copies with real Omega requirements. Nightmare equipment twins and Nightmare auras are two separate systems.

Required total level#
Level 400 = Omega 200; level 600 = Omega 400. No Prestige is required: each Prestige rank caps the level, and the last column shows the rank that reaches it.
AP, MP, Range and penalties are not amplified by creating the twin. Rarity keeps its separate rules. The item’s ordinary level alone does not determine its requirements.
Equipment has no direct Prestige-rank requirement. Its required level still applies: advance account Prestige to raise your level cap and reach the item's level.

Where to find them#
These are pool rolls, not the chance of every piece. The bestiary shows sources and your item rates.
- Tier 1: in Nightmare I / II / III, from monsters whose pool contains the original. The pool roll is divided by 25 / 15 / 6.25 before applicable bonuses.
- Tier 2: Bugcat gives one roll, Tylezia two, even on Normal difficulty. In their dedicated boss rooms, each roll is 4% / 8% / 16% / 32% on Normal–Expert / Nightmare I / II / III.
- Tier 2 also drops in Nightmare from monsters whose pool contains the level-200 original: like tier 1, four times rarer (pool roll divided by 100 / 60 / 25). Dofus 3.6 twins drop the same way, twice as rare again (200 / 120 / 50). Nightmare Dreams can drop twins from their monsters’ pools.

Add an aura afterwards#
A Nightmare twin can later receive a Dream or Nightmare aura if its rarity is Legendary or Prismatic. This step adds Dreamstone lines; it does not create the Nightmare twin.
