Introduction

About Waxdofus

Waxdofus is a custom emulator based on 2.68. It aims to fully implement ALL dungeons in the game, with mechanics that are 100% faithful to the original, along with original Dofus systems like professions, smithmagic, mount breeding, guilds, alliances, etc.

We're also adding many custom systems to enhance gameplay and give each playthrough a unique feel.

One world

• Wax Mono (Heroes +1): play your character and one hero from the same account in PvM fights.
• Wax Multi is retired. Progression and inventories remain on the Mono world.

Our custom systems

• Item rarity: every equipment drop and craft rolls an item rarity. Each rarity has different multipliers for maximum stats.
• Boss relics: claim a relic unique to each dungeon through its boss achievement. Work your way through the dungeons and stack your relics to further enhance your stats. Level 190+ dungeons in Nightmare mode offer special relics with double stats!
• Difficulty: choose your difficulty, from Normal to Nightmare. Earn special rewards in Nightmare mode, the hardest difficulty.
• Heroes +1: the Mono world allows your active character and one hero in the same client.
• Heroes mode: play multiple characters in a single client, with custom tools that make the experience as smooth as possible.
• Class variants: choose from available class variants when creating a character. The aim is to offer choices like Ecaflip 2.68 or its reworked 2.72 version, integrated directly into the client.
• The best versions of the classes: we aim to bring you the best version of each class. Our work on Sadida, Masqueraider and Cra draws on 2.72, with the goal of preserving the original animations and functionality.
• Roguelike drop system: monsters drop equipment related to the resources they naturally drop, from level 1 through 200! You can also craft the items if you get unlucky with drops. Crafted items have better chances of rolling higher rarities.
• Prestige levels: increase your Prestige to keep progressing through the game. The Prestige system is integrated seamlessly into gameplay and progression.
• Droppable Dofus: certain endgame bosses can drop Dofus.

What we're aiming for

Waxdofus aims to give you the best Dofus 2.X experience possible: faithful dungeons + fun and wacky systems to keep the experience fresh and unique.

The later Wax Dofus quest is still in development. Available dungeons and the systems described here can be played independently of that quest.
