Two versions of modern equipment#
AP, MP, Range, penalties and passives keep their rules. Rarity and Dream lines are separate upgrades.
Wax boosts modern imported equipment: native stats and damage ×1.8 (×1.29 for Osavora gear), then ×2.5 for the Nightmare twin (weapon damage ×1.5), like every Nightmare twin; an Osavora Nightmare twin sits about 30% above a level-200 Nightmare twin. Each step rounds down.
| Version | Native stats | Required total level | Level-200 example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Osavora / modern | ×1.8 (Osavora ×1.29) | Original level ×2 (450 at level 200) | 450 · Omega 250 |
| Nightmare twin | ×1.8 (Osavora ×1.29) then ×2.5 | Original level ×2 +250 | 650 · Omega 450 |
Where to obtain them#
- Modern versions use their equipment drop sources and recipes. Check the bestiary and profession book for each piece.
- The Nightmare twin is not made by upgrading the normal item: it drops in Nightmare I, II or III from monsters whose pool contains the original. It can also drop in the Nightmare row of Dreams.

The required level is the only gate#
No item requires a Prestige. Each rank caps the level: 199 at Prestige 1, then 249, 299, 349, 399, 449, 499 and 599 at Prestige 8; Prestige 9 lifts the cap. A level-450 piece is therefore worn from Prestige 7, a level-650 twin at Prestige 9.
