Access#
- Start the quest The End of Wax with Sandy (Astrub Zaap), then take the boat to the Antinau Sea Islands.
- Talk to Sandy on the island: she opens the portals to the beasts.
- The aqua portal next to her leads straight to the edge of the Gigalodon's pool. Each player goes through it themselves.
- The aqua portal at the south of the pool brings you back next to Sandy. After a win or a defeat you also wake up next to her.
The pool#
The Gigalodon fills the middle of the pool and cannot be moved. Its body is the red glyph of 20 cells around it: nobody can stand there, and a spell that touches any of those cells hits it. An area spell that covers several of them hits it only once.
Only the 3 cells in front of its mouth are in melee with it; the rest of the pool is water.
Double turn: it plays at the start of every round, then a second time once half of the characters have played.
Its spells#
At 65% resistance each hit deals about 650 to 1,000 damage. It casts all of its spells on each of its two turns.
Spinnafin
Earth damage to everyone in the circle, and pushes back 7 cells. Stay away from the pool's edge and from obstacles.
Gigagroan
Earth damage to every character standing within 2 cells of another character or summon, then spreads from each target hit. A surrounded character can take it several times. Keep 3 cells apart.
Ultrasplash
Water damage on the map's blue cells. The grey cells (north, south, east and west of the pool) are safe.
Maxsquale
Air damage, without line of sight, on up to 5 different targets. It cannot be avoided: expect one every turn.
Saws#
- A character on one of the 3 cells in front of its mouth at the start of one of its turns is swallowed: they pass their turn inside, and a black glyph marks the cell where they stood.
- At its next turn, if the glyph is free, it spits the character back onto it: earth damage equal to 80% of their current life, then the Regurgitated state for 1 turn (they cannot be swallowed again).
- If someone stands on the glyph, the swallowed character is crushed, and the one on the glyph is swallowed instead.
Gigalodoom: the machine#
The machine at the pool's edge counts the rounds left: 3, 2, then 1. On the last round the light turns red and the room darkens.
At the start of the next round Gigalodoom deals every enemy 30% of their maximum life, then the count starts again from 3.
Gigalodoom strikes at rounds 4, 7, 10, 13 and so on: heal up before each strike, its damage piles up over a long fight.

Tips#
- Stand on the grey cells: out of Ultrasplash's cones, and more than 6 cells from it to avoid Spinnafin.
- Keep at least 3 cells between every character and summon: Gigagroan spreads from one to the next.
- Do not end your turn on the 3 cells of its mouth, and never step on the black glyph of a swallowed ally.
- Hit the red cells of its body: from range, any of them counts. Area spells hit it only once, so favour big single-target hits.
- Watch the machine: heal everyone before the count reaches 0.
