Rank X spells
Every spell of every class and variant has a 4th rank, Rank X, reached only with the Ultimate Upgrade Spell Potion. The upgrade counts for every character of the account; only a Forget Rank X Potion can take it back.

Ultimate Upgrade Spell Potion#
- Prismatic
- Shop: 5,700 ogrines
- Void Magician: 10 / 8 / 6 souls
- Buy it in the Shop for 5,700 ogrines, or trade 10 Small, 8 Medium or 6 Giant World Boss Souls at the Void Magician.
Upgrading a spell#
- A spell goes to Rank X only once; an upgraded spell can no longer be picked.
- No level required: only the potion counts.
- The upgrade counts for every character of the account, on that spell and on its version in the class's other kits (2.68 and 3.7), and is kept for good, class changes included.
- Use the potion: a window lists the spells of your class that can go to Rank X (both faces of each pair).
- Hover a spell: its tooltip shows its current effects, then its effects at Rank X below.
- Pick the spell, click Upgrade and confirm. The potion is consumed only on confirmation.
Forget Rank X Potion#
- Shop: 500 ogrines
- Gives an account-bound potion back
- Rank X is removed for every character of the account.
- You get an Ultimate Upgrade Spell Potion linked to your account: it moves to your other characters through the bank, but can never be traded, sold or put on the market.
- It is how a Rank X moves after a class change: forget the old class's Rank X, then drink the potion you got back on a spell of the new one.
- A spell upgraded twice (both its versions, two potions) is listed twice: each forget gives a potion back, and the spell stays at Rank X while the other upgrade remains.
- Not in a fight, nor in the Rift.
- Use the potion: a window lists every Rank X spell of your account, even those of another class, with their class.
- Pick the spell, read the warning, click Forget rank X and confirm. The potion is consumed only on confirmation.
Power and look#
- Rank X takes the spell's rank 3 with values 30 to 50% stronger (damage, heals, shields, buffs).
- Passive spells gain no extra utility.
- A Rank X spell has a red glowing frame and a red X tag on its icon (spell bar and spell book), a red X chip above its levels in the spell book, and "Rank X" in its tooltip.
